THE BUSINESS CENTER

Considering the urgencies of business travel, our team of dedicated professionals awaits you at the Business Center, located on the mezzanine level, to assist you with all your business requirements. The Business Center prides itself in being a leader in innovation, being equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art technology.

The business center also offers full secretarial services, translation conference calling, video conferencing, courier services, computer rentals, and stationary supplies… A meeting room hosting up to 8 participants is available in the Business Center. The staff will gladly put you in touch with the sales department to arrange for larger meeting rooms if necessary. The Business Center services are available 24 hours a day.

THE GRAND BALLROOM

It is quite frequent that InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut is featured in the audio-visual and the written media, both nationally and internationally. With a resounding success achieved thanks to the excellent resources and years of experience, the Grand Ballroom has been the evident choice for major events such as the Arab League Summit, the “Francophonie” summit, the OPEC conference and the Arabic Economic Forum.

Hundreds of weddings, sales conferences, fashion shows, concerts, trade exhibitions, and other major business and social events have been held at the Grand Ballroom, and, at times, in open air around the swimming pool. In keeping up with the technological revolution in the electronics industry, the Grand Ballroom is fully equipped with the latest and most sophisticated audio-visual facilities.

While the vast 1300 m2 open space of the Grand Ballroom can host up to 2000 guests, it may be divided into four separate and soundproof rooms to cater for different occasions.

Eight other medium sized meeting rooms offer additional facilities for private meetings and conferences. Technical facilities available in all meeting rooms include LCD projectors, slide projectors, overhead projectors, full scale sound system with clip, fixed and wireless microphones, internet facilities within each meeting area, ceiling electrical screens, stage lights, portable staging, flip charts, lecterns, plasma screens, WiFi internet connection…etc

InterContinental Phoenicia’s dedicated sales team assists conference organizers in assuring the success of each event. An experienced and qualified event manager is assigned for each event, to guarantee that all aspects of the event are to the perfection level. External contacts are provided by the event manager for any services outsourced, and prices are negotiated by them on behalf of the client. Internal coordination meetings are arranged to introduce organizers to key hotel contacts for all required assistance.
